IT Skills for the Office

Offering stand alone or integrated Courses

Souters provides a range of courses suited both to serious students and people with busy lives who need to enhance their skills and productivity using MS Office based programmes. (MOS standard used). For absolute beginners please see our Beginner Office skills course

We offer the following units:

• Word 2003 and 2007 (Advanced option available)

• Excel 2003 and 2007 (Advanced option available)

• Outlook 2003 and 2007

• PowerPoint 2003 and 2007

• Access  2003 and 2007 (Advanced option available)

• Lotus notes

• MS Vista

The training is extremely thorough and should generate rapid improvement in productivity for everyone right up to advanced user where appropriate.

The training can stand alone or is ideal for integration with a Legal Secretarial or ordinary Secretarial Training package where the price has been made attractive to encourage students to hone their IT skills.

The training system has been developed over several years and is compelling to follow. The training can be based from our centre where you have access to live tutors or we can arrange online training at home based PC interfaces, (Broadband link and suitable PC needed for remote study). Once training is complete we give you online access to our reference system for one complete year after your course start date.

COURSE STRUCTURE

All courses are available on a turn up and train basis; tutors are available for induction training and to resolve your problems. Each MS Office product can be completed within one week on a full time basis but we will allow a lot longer where you need more flexibility. The online version of the material is made available to the student for one complete year.

COURSE FEES

Each MS Office product is available to Proficient user level at a fee of £125.00 per product or £100.00 per product if you book for three or more at the outset.

Course students from our Secretarial courses can buy MS Office top up units at £75.00 each.

All exams for IT Skills MUST be conducted at our training centre.
